Having not been entirely pleased with maps I've gotten from Dynojet or http://z1000.riderdestination.com/thumbnails.php?album=7 I took some advice of some Z forum members and tried out a tune from this guy http://www.faic.cc/index3.html. Basically you submit all your performance related mods, normal riding elevation, average ambient air temp etc etc he sends you a tune based off of one he has worked out locally on your same bike. I was skeptical at first like most people - but after talking with him for over an hour on the phone it was clear he know's his shit when it comes to tuning e.f.i. bikes. I'll make a long story short by saying his tune is for more than just dyno numbers - and I completely agree that even the best dyno tune REQUIRES adjustment after logging data in the real world then making changes based on data gathered (DSM tuning nerd here). **Note I was previously running a map WITHOUT the accel feature on and my secondary throttle bodies STILL connected** So his maps all include map specific settings for utilizing the accel feature - so after disabling my secondaries and installing his map, absolutely would I say it was worth $50. From a stop, roll on, part and full throttle - response and power have been improved. Great surge of power throughout the entire band now... this with a fresh set of Q2 tires - I'm on a completely different (and better!) bike than I was a week ago. Your mileage may vary but I couldn't be happier with my results
